Islam is not defined by its followers. Nor is it defined by those who do not follow the religion. It is not defined by my actions, nor is it defined by yours. Islam is defined by God. Islam is submission. It is not submission to society, nor to society’s norms or culture. It is submission to the One and True God. It is not submitting to His Creations; rather, fully submitting to God alone.
